St Heliers1-5yrs Success in Auckland Events

Congratulations to Paula Kempthorne, Runner Up in the 1-5 Women's Singles. Paula won all her games in her section, to qualify then won 25-23 in her first post section round against Liz Badenhost of Glendowie, followed by 25-0 against Holly McIlroy from Onehunga. The score in the final against the experienced Maria Smith was 25--7.

Congratulations to Anne Renwick, Theresa Bracefield & Paula Kempthorne who finished Runners Up in the Auckland 1-5 Women's Triples on Saturday 10th December. The final score of 13-12 to their Pt Chevalier opponents is indicative of a close game in which initially St Heliers led, then after being overtaken made a strong and so nearly successful bid to come back.
